Of course Oil Shale production would be a huge benefit to the state of Colorado and Shell at the very least.

But the use of water is certainly a huge issue, as well.</description>

		<description>This will add severely to the climate change and pollution as it will bring "centuries stored" CO2 in the atmosphere.
The only valid reason could be the dependency of the US on öld" fossil fuel. But the high water and energy consumption will prevent this solution to become succesful. Watersources are running out in large parts of teh USA.

		<description>I applaud OptiSolar for aggressively developing these projects.  The impending OPA rule changes, however, will make it much more difficult for other developers.  I am interested in meeting/contacting solar power developers impacted by the rule changes.
