The State of Ohio recently announced that the state has awarded 12 Ohio based companies with 8.9 million dollars from the Ohio Third Frontier Fuel Cell Program.

This program supports the advancement of research, production and product commercialization of fuel cells.

This investment on Ohio’s fuel cell industry is expected to create approximately 2,000 jobs to the Buckeye State. It is also one of the few States in the United States that all phases of fuel cell development takes place – from R&D all the way to final product manufacturing.
